When will Linux be supported?

Linux builds are supported for Nuke as of the latest version.
Will there be a macOS version?

A macOS build is not planned. Due to GPU constraints, it is unlikely to be released.
Is there a trial version?

Trial versions are available only for studios with real commercial interest.

Does the plugin support pixel-driven, image-based flares?
+
Yes. Automatic flare detection and pixel-driven inputs are fully supported.
Why do some ghosts disappear at higher quality settings?
+
This happens when GPU memory is exhausted. Enable Render Stability mode to reduce memory usage.
Can the plugin render using CPU only?

No. Flares OFX requires GPU acceleration (CUDA + OpenGL). CPU-only systems are not supported.
Troubleshooting
The plugin does not appear in my host application.

Verify the plugin is placed in the correct OFX directory and restart your host. Check that your GPU drivers are updated.
The plugin feels slow or laggy.

Your GPU may be running out of VRAM. Lower ghost count or enable Render Stability mode.
I see GPU-related errors or OpenGL warnings.

Update NVIDIA drivers, ensure CUDA support is enabled, and confirm your GPU meets minimum requirements.
