Installation
This page describes how to install Flares OFX and verify that it is correctly detected by your OpenFX host application.
General Installation Steps
Section titled “General Installation Steps”- Download the plugin archive using the link provided after purchase.
- Extract the archive if required.
- Copy the plugin folder into the appropriate OpenFX directory for your platform.
- Restart your host application.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\Linux
/usr/OFX/Plugins/Note
The Linux build currently supports Nuke only.
Important Notes
Section titled “Important Notes”- OpenFX plugin paths may vary depending on the host application.
- Nuke may also scan:
.../OFX/Nuke- custom locations defined via the
OFX_PLUGIN_PATHenvironment variable
- Resolve, Fusion, Flame, and Natron typically rely on the shared OpenFX directory.
If the plugin does not appear after installation, verify the path and restart the host application before proceeding with further troubleshooting.
